Who are you as a sales manager?
As an enthusiastic and driven Sales manager, you are responsible for the sales of combined software- and hardware development projects, often centered around a FPGA-solution. Mostly you generate new leads and prospects, and acquire contracts for our business units projects and products. This in order to realize TOPIC’s commercial objectives towards new markets and new clients.
What are your tasks
- Identify new markets and new potential clients;
- Set individual sales targets, agree upon and integrate in our annual business unit sales plan;
- Initiate meetings with potential new clients;
- Organize follow up meeting together with our technical support team;
- Give presentations and recognize customer interests;
- Orchestrate the quotation process;
- Send out and present quotations and proposals to our clients;
- Lead communications and negotiations with new clients and sign contracts within allocated authority limits;
- Record progress of sales processes in our sales system;
- Be the TOPIC ambassador to the outside world.
Your profile
- Finished Bachelor or Master study and 5 years+ of experience in a similar role;
- Used to a dynamic and international working environment;
- Experience in sales of (embedded) development projects;
- Able to cross the bridge between requirements and technologies;
- Analytical, strong communication skills and a strong personality;
- You have a helicopter view and are able to keep an overview;
- Residence in the Netherlands, fluent in the English and Dutch language;
- Intrinsic motivation to explore new technologies.
