Who are you as a sales manager?

As an enthusiastic and driven Sales manager, you are responsible for the sales of combined software- and hardware development projects, often centered around a FPGA-solution. Mostly you generate new leads and prospects, and acquire contracts for our business units projects and products. This in order to realize TOPIC’s commercial objectives towards new markets and new clients.

What are your tasks

  • Identify new markets and new potential clients;
  • Set individual sales targets, agree upon and integrate in our annual business unit sales plan;
  • Create and hold first and follow-up meetings with potential new clients;
  • Give presentations and recognize customer interests;
  • Send out quotations and proposals to our clients;
  • Lead communications and negotiations with new clients and sign contracts within allocated authority limits;
  • Record progress of sales processes in the appropriate systems;
  • Establish and build a new strong external strategic network ;
  • Represent TOPIC’s interests to clients and function as one of the central points of contact, on behalf of TOPIC, to (potential) clients;

Your profile

  • Finished Bachelor or Master study and 5 years+ of experience in a similar role;
  • Used to a dynamic and international working environment;
  • Experience in sales of (embedded) development projects;
  • Analytical, strong communication skills and a strong personality;
  • You have a helicopter view and are able to keep an overview;
  • Residence in the Netherlands, fluent in the English and Dutch language

Our job structure model consists of several seniority levels. Your position in the salary scale will be conform your previous experience and expertise. For this position, we are looking for a Sales manager. The annual all-in benefit package will be between €65.000 and €100.000. 

Additionally, you will also receive an insurance package, a good pension scheme and a yearly study budget including paid training days. We offer a home office support package and TOPIC has a relocation assistance program in place for new employees.
