Your job as FPGA Designer

As a FPGA Designer you will create complex HDL designs and work with large FPGA's like Zynq Ultrascale+ and Virtex Ultrascale+ on a regular basis. It is up to you to determine how data and algorithms are processed and mapped on the FPGA hardware whilst making sure that timing and resource constraints are met. Together with Hardware Engineers you work on pin placement. You will create modules and subcomponents with VHDL and HLS. Through simulation, you will make sure the design is working as to be expected.

You will be part of a team that consists of Hardware Developers, FPGA Developers and Embedded Software Engineers. You will contribute to tech meetings where you will be sharing your ideas and help the project move forward in the right direction. Depending on your ambitions and desires for personal growth, we will support you in shaping your future and let you take on more responsibilities as you grow in seniority.

The projects that you will be working on are challenging and diverse.  In our tech stack we use tools such as VHDL, Vivado, HLS, QuestaSim, Petalinux, UVM, Yocto and GIT. TOPIC is one of the 11 selected companies worldwide to be invited to the Premier Alliance Partnership of Xilinx, allowing us to adopt and apply new technologies in an early stage.
